2003 Ford Explorer Rear Hatch Cracking

I have a 2003 Ford Explorer and I had a crack in my rear hatchback, spent $500 to get it repaired thinking someone hit me, but found out Ford had a defect in their plastic, started looking for other Ford Explorers 2003 and found dozens just within 10 miles of me. Called Ford and they simply said they never received any complaints. All of you that have that problem call and demand that it be repaired.
